<p><strong>Below is some information sent to me by one of our students family who are raising awareness for T.B. I wish them the best of luck with their fundraising.</strong></p>
<div>Hi Jo</div>
<div> </div>
<div>I wondered if you would consider posting information about sponsorship we are raising for TB alert on your website. Jarvis my eldest son who was a pupil a Notre Dame last year contracted TB resulting in lung cavitation and has had to undergo a 6 month course of treatment. He missed 2 months of school having just started at high school, and had to give up a pro youth trial place at Clyde football club due to the gradual decline in his health. Jarvis is now in recovery.</div>
<div> </div>
<div>As a family we are all competing in various runs around the City to raise awareness of the disease and to inform people that TB is not a disease of the past, but actually on the increase in Glasgow (we are hoping the the awareness will prevent late diagnosis of the illness as happened in Jarvis&#8217;s case).</div>
<div> </div>
<div>Harvey is running the 3K along with Jarvis (12yrs) in September. Stephen and I will be running both the Men and Women&#8217;s 10K and Great Scottish run.</div>
<div> </div>
<div>We are looking at anyways we can help to raise funds not only to help the great work of TB alert, but more importantly to prevent any more children suffering like Jarvis has.</div>
<div> </div>
<div>Thanks again</div>
<div> </div>

<p>Within this holiday project we focus on various skills used within theatre these include, drama, singing, music and dance. All this culminates into an exciting performance on the Friday which family and friends are invited to and then an outdoor performance on Saturday 7th August.  The project is for children age 7 – 16, and morning school (10am &#8211; 12.30) for 5 and 6 year olds. All our projects are tailored to different themes and can give each participant the opportunity to try something different, they are held in a safe environment and all tutors are fully disclosed and have experience working and teaching within theatre.</p>
